About paycalceu
paycalceu is an independent project providing free salary, tax and finance calculators for European countries in seven languages, with versioned sources and visible verification status.
What this site is
paycalceu helps you understand your money in Europe. It covers gross-to-net salary, VAT, self-employed tax and hourly-to-annual conversion per country, a set of country-agnostic finance calculators (compound interest, loan, savings, inflation, retirement, debt payoff, rent vs buy, pay rise), and a cross-country tool that compares net take-home pay across the Eurozone, adjusted for cost of living. Everything is free, needs no signup, and every calculator can be embedded on other websites.
How the numbers are sourced
We use official primary sources where available, reputable secondary sources when primary access is unavailable, and explicitly labelled derived formulas. Each documented value keeps its source and verification status. Calculator results disclose provisional, conflicting or unverified values actually used by the active calculation.
Independent and privacy-first
This is an independent project, not affiliated with any tax authority, bank or employer. The calculators run entirely in your browser, so the salaries and amounts you type never leave your device and are never sent to us. Analytics are anonymous and load only if you accept cookies. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Who runs it
paycalceu is built and operated by Radim Sekera (sekera.dev). For corrections, questions or embedding, write to [email protected].
Important disclaimer
The calculators are for information and estimation only. They are not tax, legal or financial advice, and results can differ from an official assessment because of individual circumstances the tools do not capture. Always confirm figures that matter with the relevant authority or a qualified adviser before making a decision.
